The data you see was collected from the Centers for Disease Control Prevention in 2021.  This PowerPoint slide was shared by Montana State University professor of Pathology & Vice President for Research, David Young.  Professor Young is also the Acting Coordinator for Biomedical Research Programs. It shows the rise in total drug overdose deaths including those involving opioids.
